CAT-03 HALF DAY CITY TOUR
A visit to the city of Sucre and its Museums is a must to understand the past and present of this unique town.

CAT-04 FULL DAY CITY TOUR

This tour shows some traditional manufactures in Sucre still made in the old fashioned way, such as chocolate and hats.

CAT-06 DINOSAUR FOOTPRINTS

CAT-07 FULL DAY TARABUCO
Attending the indigenous market of Tarabuco, one of the most colorful and purest in the world, where indigenous people, dressed on their traditional garments attend this town every Sunday to buy, sell and still barter their local products and handicrafts, is made into a unique experience.
Morning departure to Tarabuco ( 60Km./ 1 Hour), visit to the indigenous market and main square,. Lunch with typical Sunday meal in our restaurant “El Horno”
Afternoon return to Sucre

CAT-08 TARABUCO CANDELARIA FULL DAY
Early departure towards the southeast of Sucre to the indigenous village of Candelaria, passing through the village of Tarabuco. (On Sunday attendance to the indigenous market of Tarabuco, otherwise only a short stopover).
Arrival to Candelaria and visit to indigenous homes in the nearby village where we will be able to see the way men and women artisans live and work.
Small indigenous market arranged by local women, with handicrafts.
Visit to the Colonial Hacienda of Candelaria (storage rooms, chapel, etc).
Typical lunch at the Hacienda.
If time allows it, short walk to the Inca Bridge and return to Sucre in the evening.

CAT-09 CANDELARIA TARABUCO TWO DAYS

Overnight at simple accommodations in the Hacienda.

If time allows it, short walk to the Inca Bridge and return to Sucre in the evening.

CAT-10 EXTENSION ICLA CANYON
A beautiful scenary and natural rock formation in the valley of Icla are a great place for an easy hike.This valley is located only 1 Hour from Candelaria and it has a dramatic scenary of changing altitudes

Private round trip transportation from Candelaria to the beginning of the canyon, trekking trhough the canyon, picnic lunch, bilingual experienced guide.
CAT-11 PRE-HISPANIC ROAD
After a 1 ½ drive, the hike begins downhill on the mountains (about 6 Km.) on the remains of an Inca road.
Arrival to the end of the road and continue drive to Chaunaca where a puicnic lunch is arranged.
After lunch on the river bed of the Ravelo river, return to Sucre
This is a rather easy hike, downhill with a great view of the mountain range of Los Frailes

CAT-12 PICTOGRAPHS INCAMACHAY – PUMAMACHAY
Early departure from Sucre towards the northwest. After a 1 ½ drive, the hike begins on the mountains. (about 10Km.) Arrival to the Incamachay and Pumamamachay caves where the first signs of communication between humans were found.
After a rest on the mountains, the walk continues. Picnic lunch on the way.

CAT-13 POTOLO FULL DAY
The village of Potolo is an indigenous town where local women weave the well known Jalk´a textiles. This area is also magnificent for the great colors in the surrounding mountains.
A 2 ½ hour drive to this indigenous village with a stopover for box lunch and as many as required for pictures.

This tour can be combined with a hike on the Inca Road or to the Pictographs.

CAT-14 POTOLO AND DINOSAUR FOOTPRINTS OF MARAGUA
The village of Maragua offers also great views and a good opportunity to hike and find dinosaur footprints. In the small village weavers will also show a display of textiles, the way they are made and their lifestyle.

CAT-15 ANCIENT TEXTILES DISPLAY AND LECTURE
The collection of textiles displayed shows one of the greatest varieties of textiles gathered together in one collection. The lecture is given by an expert in textiles, owner of the collection. This allows better understanding of Bolivia and the many different cultural groups living in this territory.

CAT-18 LA GLORIETA -YOTALA –ÑUCCHU
After departing Sucre we include a visit to the magnificent Casttle of La Glorieta, built by the only Prince and Princess of Bolivia. Then the trip continues to Yotala and Ñucchu, two small villages where horseback riding can be arranged.
