MANAGER

Elizabeth Rojas

Started Candelaria Tours, the first travel company in the region, in 1975. She was at the same time a collector for textiles and has now the largest and best private textile collection in the country. Her personal background allowed her also to have great understanding of the local communities and our culture. She was the curator of the Anthropological Museum in Sucre for 20 years and now she is retired and fully devoted to the travel Agency.

VICE MANAGER

Liz Rojas

Graduated from the University in Sucre as an Economist and while being a student also worked as a Tour guide. She lived in Australia for one year and is now working full time in the office, still enjoys guiding very much. She overviews special programs and works closely with the incoming tourism section mostly with English speaking clients.

INCOMING TOURISM

Monica Machicado

Monica has been involved in tourism for several years.
She graduated in Tourism from the local University and lived in France for 1 year, she speaks fluent French.

Karen Ibarra

She graduated from the local University in Economics and now she is very interested in tourism.
She is in the operations department.

TICKETING AND OUTGOING TOURISM

Diego Zardán

Works with the company since 1983 and is a specialist in ticketing
Graduated as an accountant, has advanced training in SABRE.

Anna Maria Morales

Ana María graduated in tourism and works in the office for 6 years. She lived in France for some years and speaks fluent French and some English.
She has special advanced training in SABRE and organizes tours outside Bolivia.

ACCOUNTING

Roxana Yucra

She graduated in accounting in the local University in Sucre and is now in charge of the accounting departament in Candelaria Tours

Erbing Rojas   

Currently  studying law in the local school. She assists the accounting department

We have a complete staff of spanish, english, French, german, Italian, thai and Japanese speaking guides, who have been trained and specialized in the areas we cover.
They all have a little to share of themselves and the country with our clients.
