PCAT8 LA PAZ TIWANAKU TITICACA LAKE SUCRE POTOSI

Day 1
Private transfer from the airport.
Three hour trip, visiting the Main Square (Plaza Murillo), San Francisco church, handicrafts markets, the Witches Market, the Precious Metals and museum, then continue to visit the amazing geological shapes of the Moon Valley. Overnight at choosen Hotel

Day 2
Pick up from your hotel at 07:30 A.M. Departure at 08:00 A.M.
Visit to Tiahuanacu, museum and citadel.
Transfer by bus to the Sanctuary of Copacabana to enjoy lunch in
Khota Kahuana Restaurant at Hotel Rosario del Lago.
visit the beautiful baroque-Moorish style Virgen de la Candelaria church and the handicraft market. You can climb to the Calvary, where one may witness the synthesis of native religious beliefs and Christianity in the rituals of the Yatiris or priests.
By night, enjoy Lake Titicaca’s delicious trout at Hotel Rosario del Lago. (L, D)

Day 3
After breakfast, board the motorboats to the Island of the Sun. On this legendary island, visit the Pilkokaina Inca Palace and enjoy a short walk or sail to the Gardens, Stairs and Fountain of the Inca. As we ascend to Yumani village, we have a magnificent view of the lake set to the backdrop of Mount Illampu.

Day 4
Breakfast and transfer to airport. Flight to Sucre and transfer to the hotel of choice.
A visit to the city of Sucre and its Museums is a must to understand the past and present of this unique town.
The tour lasts 3 hours including the sites that interest you most. Some of the places to choose from are the Textile Museum of Asur, The House of Liberty, The Monastery of San Felipe Nery, The Monastery of La Recoleta, University Colonial, Anthropological and Modern Art Museum, Bolivar Park and others. Overnight at Hotel
Day 5
After breakfast private transport from Sucre to Potosi.
Visit to the Casa de la Moneda (National Mint), where the procedure used for minting coins in different periods is seen.
Visit to the Miner´s market and an active Colonial mine to see the way miners used (and still do) to extract minerals.
Lunch at an unusual local restaurant including full meal (drinks not included)
Visit to the Convent of Santa Teresa that besides it´s beauty, it is a must to understand the religious life in the colonial times.
Return to Sucre by private car. Overnight at Hotel
Day 6
Breakfast and transfer to airport for departure flight.

PCAT 9  LA PAZ SUCRE POTOSI UYUNI LA PAZ

Day 1
Private transfer from the airport or vice versa.

Breakfast  and private transfer from Potosí to Uyuni by 4x4 with box lunch on route. Dinner in Uyuni. Overnight at Luna Salada  or  Girasoles Hotel.
Day 7
Breakfast and visit to Colchani and a plant where salt with iodine is processed by the locals. Continue through the “Montones de Sal” (salt hills), “Ojos de Agua”, to Isla Incawasi. Lunch and afternoon return from Uyuni   dinner and day use at Girasols Hotel
Transfer to train station.
(Train tickets from Uyuni to Oruro and bus tickets from Oruro to La Paz included)

PCAT 10 CHALALAN 4D/3N

Day 1Flight La Paz Rurrenabaque 
( arrival time depends on the weather and airline schedule).
Arrival transfer in Rurrenabaque. Briefing at the hotel about the Chalalan trip, information about restaurants, tourist attractions and others, to take the best of the time in Rurrenabaque.
Overnight at a lcal hotel.
Day 2 – Rurrenabaque – Chalalán – Parque Nacional Madidi
The journey begins with the navigation on a small but comfortable motor boat for about 5 ½  hours on the Beni and Tuichi rivers. After about 2 hours, a box lunch or “tapeque “ will be served, to the continue the trip to Chalalan.
Note: Our boats have a roof, comfortable chairs, life jackets and first aid kit.
Arrival to the port of Chalalan and then after a 25 miute walk,  on a jungle trail, arrival to the Chalalan Eco Lodge, where you will be accomdated in the cabins. Welcome lunch prepared by the community chef.
Short talk and explanation on the San Jose de Uchupiamonas and Chalalán project, the Madidi protected area. Short walk on the Paraba trail, until the mirador, a great lookout point, to see the Chalalán lagoon, the mountains and the impressive tropical jungle.
Dinner at the shelter´s dining room.
Night walk for 1 to 2 hours to observe the night fauna in the area ( insects, frogs, snakes, butterflies, spiders, etc)
Day 3 Chalalán –Madidi National Park
Buffet breakfast.
Walk on the Anta, Wabucuru and Marimono paths on route to the  Eslabón river. This walk takes 3 ½, hours and it shows the exhuberant vegetation in the jungle and the animals that inhabit the area. (theme: Flora and Fauna in Chalalán) . Picnic lunch at the ESlabón River. Walk on the shore of the river and afternoon return to Chalalán. Time at leisure to rest or swim on the fresh water of the Chalalán lagoon.
Dinner. Night tour on Chalalán lagoon to see the amazing spark on the eyes of caimans. The tour lasts from 1 to 2 hours.
Day 4 Chalalán – Rurrenabaque
Buffet Breakfast.
Walk to the  Chalalán port to take the boats and return to Rurrenabaque. Arrival to Rurrenabaque .Departure transfer for flight to La Paz.

PCAT 11 PAMPAS – CARACOLES LODGE 3D/2N

Day 1. Jeep 4*4 transfer from Rurrenabaque to Santa Rosa del Yacuma. Aftr 3 hours arrival to the Caracoles lodge, on the river bed of the Yacuma river. Lunch and free time to rest in the hammocs.In the afternoon, boat ride to observe the wild life: caimans, anancondas, turtles, capibaras, pink river dolphins, and different species of birds and monkeys.
Day 2
 Morning walk on the pampas, looking for anancondas and alligators. Lunch and rest at the lodge. In the afternoon , fishing on the river for piranhas. If the river is too high, it is posible to swim with dolphins.
After dinner, boat ride to see the alligators eyes.
Day 3
Morning boat ride to observe the yellow monkeys or Chichilos that live in the upper part of the river.
After lunch, return to Rurrenabaque by jeep. Arrival at about 5:00 p.m.

PCAT 12  PAMPAS AND JUNGLE  5D/4N

Día 1 – La Paz – Rurrenabaque

Lunch at the lodge.
Walk or canoe or handcrafys afternoon, where one can learn the techniques for local handcrafts production in the area.
Dinner at the lodge. Night tour on the shore of Chalalan lagoon to see the amazing shine on the alligators eyes.
This tour lasts from one to two hours.
Day 3 Chalalán – Rurrenabaque
Buffet breakfast at the lodge.
Short walk on the Paraba path to the Mirador, from where the view of the lagoon and the landscape itself is breathtaking. (Theme: plants and trees used for building homes in the area)
Lunch at the lodge.
Walk to the port of Chalalan. Return trip from Chalalan to Rurrenabaque.
Arrival to Rurrenabaque and transfer on 4*4 to Santa Rosa del Yacuma.
After 3 hours arrival to Caracoles eco-lodge on the shore of the Yacuma river.
Boat ride to observe the wild fauna in the area: caimans, anacondas, turtles, capibaras, pink dolphins, different species of monkeys and birds.
Day 4

PCat-13 SAMAIPATA – LA YUNGA - 2 Days  / 1 Night

Day 1
Departure at 8:00 a.m. towards Samaipata, the area that borders the Amboró National Park on the southern part,  120 Km from Santa Cruz. This area hosts the most importan archaelological site in the Occidental part of Bolivia, “El Fuerte”, a ceremonial center, declared Cultural Heritage Site By Unesco in  1998.
At about  11:00 hrs. Check in at Quinta Piray Hotel to then go for a walk in town. Visit to the Archaelological Museum, some handcraft shops, the ASOPEC workshop and the Main Square where the local church is. Return to the hotel for lunch nd some rest.
At 15:30 hrs departure towards “El Fuerte”, located on the top of a hill at  1.950 m.o.s.l.., therefore it is a great lookout with a tourist interpretation center. A local guide will show you around.
Free evening to visit the local cofee shops and restaurants.
Day  2
Departure atida a las 7:00 a.m. towards Amboró National Park. Arrival to La Yunga Camp in Mairana. Walk on the Nature interpretation Paths of the Bosque de los Helechos Gigantes. Box lunch on route. Return to Samaipata. Lunch, some time to rest at the hotel and return to Santa Cruz.

JESUIT MISSIONS OF CHIQUITOS

PCAT -14  LAS MISIONES – 2 Días/1 Noche

Day 1
The tour begins departing to San Javier at 7:00 a.m. , towards the first Jesuit Mission of Chiquitos, founded in 1691. This town is located  222 Km from Santa Cruz.
Visit to the missional temple, the Museum and the Church. Continue visiting the house of German Bush ( Ex president of Bolivia), the House of Culture and the “Yarituses” Hall.
Lunch in town and continue to Concepción, 63 Km. from San Javier and 30Km. from Las Piedras. After checking in at the hotel in Concepcion, Visit to the Chiquitos Hotel where one can see different native species of orquids and the different specios obtained from mixing them. This visit is full of  amazing colors and forms.
Dinner and free evening.
Day 2
Visit to the Missional Temple, the Church and the Museum in Concepcion, seeing also worshops and shops in town that produce magnificent handcrafts carved in Wood and handpinted as well as knittings.
Typical box lunch and visit to the Zapocó damn. Lunch at Las Piedras Restaurant. Drive back to San Javier to visit the local Bakerys and to enjoy afternoon tea. Visit to the Worshops where wooden, ceramic, seeds and kniited handcrafts are produced and sold. A Taste of the famous local cheese and continue trip to Santa Cruz.

PCAT15  LAS MISIONES – 3 Days/2 Nights

Day 1

Day 3
Breakfast at 7:00 and departure to Santa Cruz. Lunch at Las Piedras Restaurant. Drive by san Javier in the afternnon, where we visit the the local Bakerys and to enjoy afternoon tea.
