General Terms and Conditions


Candelaria Tours will always act as your representative and will protect your identity.

Services and rates in this manual can be offered by Travel Agents in Bolivia and overseas with our quality guarantee.


Rates

All of our rates are expressed in U.S. dollars per person and they are subject to change without notice. If the customer does not accept those changes, we have no obligation to follow with the tour neither to give any money refunds. Rates are guaranteed at the time of reservation.

Reservations

Reservations are to be made 7 days before for Fits and 10 days for groups. The response will be delivered within 48 hours from this time.

Confirmations are subject to availability of hotels. If there would not be space in the chosen hotel we will provide a reservation in a similar one giving notice of the change.

Last minute reservations are subject to be pre paid without the possibility of cancellation.


Payments

Payments must be made to Candelaria Tours in US Dollars or Bolivianos at the official exchange rate. Full payment must be received prior to arrival in Bolivia. For groups, non-refundable deposit equivalent to first night stay in each hotel is required between 30 and 45 days in advance. Once the tour begins, there are no refunds for cancellations or tours not taken voluntarily.


Cancellations

We accept cancellations up to 10 days before the tour starts for Fits and 15 days for groups with no charge and a full refund.

When the cancellation is made between 3 and 9 days before the tour starts, there is a 20% charge from the overall price.

If it happens 48 hours before, 50% and in case of no show the whole price of the program quoted will be charged.


Luggage

We will transport with no charge up to 2 pieces per person weighing about 30 Kg on land programs and 20 Kg. on planes. Passengers are responsible for the entire luggage they carry and our company does not respond for their damage or loss.


Travel Documents

Passengers are supposed to carry with them their passport and Visa in order and are responsible for them and their personal belongings at all times.


Changes

Changes in the itineraries could be made in order to better the service and to assure the passenger’s safety in special cases (wars, acts of God, weather conditions, strikes, etc.)

Candelaria Tours will make the best effort to maintain the quality of the services if changes are made.

All the expenses due to justified changes are to be assumed by the passenger.


Agreement

When making reservations and purchasing our services we assume that there is a full agreement with our general conditions, detailed above.

No contract or document will be required for this purpose.

In case of disagreement, Bolivian laws will be applied.


Special Notice:

Our prices have been calculated taking in account the oil price, taxes, money exchange rates and others. If a raise nation wide happens, we must warn that our prices will be raised too immediately in the exact measurement that the national government rises prices.
